Post-Seondary Ministries
Adopt-a-Student
Imagine coming to a new city to start university or college and not knowing anyone. We pair gracious host families with post-secondary students living in the St. John's metro area.
While host families and students are encouraged to connect as often as possible, we kindly ask that host families:
- share a meal with students twice a semester;
- assist students with transportation to/from church (if necessary); and
- contact students via phone/e-mail throughout the semester.
To sign-up or learn more as a student or a host family email info@elim.nf.ca.

Join Pastor Owen and all of the SHELTER Youth ministry team every Friday evening at 7:30 for a time of getting to know each other better - and connecting with God in a positive and powerful way.
Whether it is live music, a message that will challenge you, fun-filled activities, or just hangin' out, you can make SHELTER your 'home.' You will find a place to belong and a place to be you!

Young Adults
Whether you're from the metro area, in town studying for a while - or working full-time, the need to belong - to feel connected is part of everyone's young adult experience. We meet on a regular basis to make that happen. In someone's home; here at the church; or at a social outing - we want you to connect with each other and grow in your faith, side by side with friends and with your church family.
In addition, there is small group discipleship for Young Adults every second Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm.
