We just got back from Youth Breakaway 1 and it was phenomenal! Guest speaker Troy Matchett was very challenging and brought the word powerfully and with humor. Pastor Justin Parsons (former SHELTER intern) led the worship team and did an amazing job leading the junior highs! Our SHELTER crew were very involved in all aspects of the camp…they met with God in a powerful way and the guys were on the winning REC team (Jam Jam Cove J). Can’t wait for YB 2 now!

The early registration deadline is coming up soon – JULY 17. The cost is 170.00 and you will need to get that into our church office asap. After this the next deadline is JULY 31 and that cost will be 200.00. The guest speaker is Eddie Rentz from the USA and the worship leader is the YC 2008 talent search winner, Gary French. You won’t want to miss out!

This coming thanksgiving we will be taking another crew of youth and young adults to Gander for the weekend. YC is one of the most powerful times in NL youth ministry, when the youth of our province come together to be challenged in their faith together. This year’s lineup is one of the best yet, including Kutless, Matt Mahar, Roosevelt Hunter, Revolution band, Starfield and more.
